Rice Lake Physical Therapy and Rehab Specialists celebrates 10 year ! anniversary; Clinic undergoes remodeling to better meet patient needs

Rice Lake, WI (October 31, 2013) – Rice Lake Physical Therapy and Rehab Specialists (Rice Lake PTRS) is excited to celebrate their 10th year anniversary this past month in serving the Rice Lake community. Centered on the values of service, teamwork, education, integrity, and commitment, Rice Lake PTRS continuously strives to provide each patient with an exceptional guest experience. In addition, the practice recently underwent extensive remodeling to better meet the needs of all patients.

The now completed remodeling project at Rice Lake PTRS includes the addition of a private treatment room towards the back of the facility, to provide better privacy for new patients and those with sensitive injuries such as concussions. This change has allowed the practice to expand and open up gym space to better accommodate patient needs. The remodel also added desk space for the physical therapist team next to the gym area to promote an open door policy with patients as Rice Lake PTRS strives to educate all patients on their aches and pains. In addition, the atmosphere now reflects a Northwoods feel, offering a warmer and more welcoming environment that everyone in the community can relate to. “We’re really excited about our new space and being able to offer both a better client and patient experience, as well as improve our ability to deliver physical therapy services,” said Physical Therapist and Clinic Director Mark Smith, PT.

Since the clinic’s grand opening, the entire staff has dedicated themselves to continuous improvement to ensure they can meet all needs of the community. This includes clinic and equipment upgrades, an increase in specializations including aquatic therapy, and therapist continuing education. In addition to the remodeling project, the entire team recently completed training on how to become industrial rehab specialists, allowing them to return an injured worker back to employment safely and more quickly. “We would like to thank the community for supporting us over these past 10 years. I am excited to keep growing our practice, finding new ways each day to better serve our community and friends,” continued Smith.

Rice Lake PTRS is a locally owned-and-operated private physical therapy practice located on W. Knapp Street. Additional convenient locations are located in Spooner, Hayward, Turtle Lake, and Clear Lake, WI. Specializing in sports injuries, industrial medicine, injury prevention education, orthopedics, vestibular and balance, aquatic therapy, and TMJ Dysfunction services, the staff prides themselves on providing the best quality treatment and care to their patients.
